Patient Information

What will it cost?

We sincerely believe that excellent dental care can be affordable and accessible in NY state. We participate in a wide variety of insurances so that all kinds of families can come to see us. We keep our office fees low and work directly with families that are experiencing hardship instead of convincing them to take out credit. We know that a visit to the dentist can be scary for children, but we also understand that it can be scary for parents and guardians who are not ready for an unexpected bill. We aim to be transparent and provide you as much information as possible about what your care will cost. Oh, and the best way to keep your dental costs low is to brush and floss twice a day!

Dental Insurance

We take a wide range of dental insurances including NY medicaid plans, many local union and PBA plans, and PPO insurances. The best way to be sure you have in-network coverage with us is to call your insurance carrier. Remember, insurances vary widely in coverage and there are frequently costs that are passed on to you in the form of co-pays, co-insurances, and deductibles. We are always working hard to make sure that you understand what out of pocket expenses you might have.

Hospital Care

Treatment under general anesthesia at the hospital involves two sets of charges: one through your medical insurance that covers the hospital’s fees and one through your dental insurance for the care that we provide. There are not many insurances that cover all of these costs. If you think your child may need care under general anesthesia, talk to us about your options.

We are in-network with many major insurances!

Protecting You and Your Family

We always take infection control seriously and we work hard to keep you and your family safe from highly transmissible infections like COVID-19, RSV, and influenza. We have taken many additional steps to protect our staff, our patients, and our communities:

  • All of our staff are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and flu.

  • All of our staff wear laundered gowns and high quality masks to prevent the spread of droplets and aerosols.

  • We use health care quality air purifiers.

  • Our office is cleaned and disinfected frequently throughout the day.

We are asking our patients to do the following:

  • Please do not come to the office if you, your child, or anyone else in your household is sick

  • Please do not come to the office if you have been advised to quarantine by any public health agency or medical provider.

  • Please wear a mask or face covering at all times when you are in the office. Children will be instructed by our team when it is OK to remove their masks.

  • If you are a new patient, please try and register online to reduce contact time in the office.
